Project Challenges

This home’s roof featured multiple slopes, intersecting rooflines, valleys, and several penetrations that required careful attention. Its location among tall trees and the limited access around the property added another layer of difficulty. Portions of the roof decking also needed to be opened and rebuilt to create a strong, properly prepared surface for the new roofing system.

Our Solution

Our crew carefully removed the existing roofing materials and replaced damaged or compromised roof decking where needed. We installed GAF Tiger Paw™ underlayment to provide an added layer of protection beneath the new architectural shingles. Special attention was given to the valleys, transitions, ridges, and roof penetrations, using new flashing and properly sealed components to help prevent water intrusion.

Because of the roof’s height and challenging surroundings, our team used professional fall-protection equipment and controlled installation methods throughout the project. The completed roof now offers improved protection, reliable drainage, and a clean, cohesive appearance that complements the wooded setting.
