Upstate Residential Roofing Project
This project was a special initiative near and dear to our hearts. Upstate Roofing LLC was honored to donate a full roof replacement to Fire Station 17 in Granite Bay, California, ensuring that our local first responders have a safe, dry, and reliable facility while they serve our community.
Project Challenges
Addressing Cumulative Wear & Potential Leak Points
Over time, small vulnerabilities—such as dried-out sealants, minor shingle damage, and clogged gutters—can lead to catastrophic water damage. The challenge for this project was to identify and remediate these "silent" issues across the entire roof surface without the need for a full replacement. We needed to ensure that every transition point and drainage path was 100% secure while also improving the visual continuity of the roof’s utility components.
Our Solution
Targeted Restoration & Preventative Sealing
Upstate Roofing implemented a systematic "top-to-bottom" restoration process. By combining debris removal with internal gutter sealing, we addressed the root causes of overflow and perimeter leaks. We utilized high-performance silicone sealants on all penetrations to ensure long-term elasticity and weatherproofing, far outlasting standard asphalt-based products. Finally, by color-matching and repainting all roof hardware and replacing critical shingles, we restored both the structural health and the visual appeal of the home. The project concluded with a full site sweep and haul-away, leaving the roofing system rejuvenated and the property pristine.
